Boo, Intel. Boo..

Intel apparently wants to charge customers additional money to unlock hardware features that are already present in the purchased product: link

I have said it before, and I will say it again: if I buy a computer, I must have total and complete ownership and authority over its components. Otherwise, I just won't buy it.

No big deal, really- I'm sure AMD will be more than happy to have my business. It isn't like boycotting Intel will hurt my ability to do computing...
