What sets me apart?

About Me

I’m a leader, systems engineer, and developer with over 10 years of experience in the cloud and HPC space, where I’ve been responsible for environments ranging from several hundred to tens of thousands of hosts at both startups and Big Tech. I currently run the consultancy Certo Modo.

I study SRE, DevOps, and Agile concepts to improve the way I lead teams and work with my clients. The main thing I’ve learned thus far is that reliability work is best done via communication with others rather than just writing code.

Outside of work I have diverse interests!

Electronic music is a huge part of my life. If I’m not listening to it at home/work, I’m at a live show or producing music on my own. I particularly enjoy Trance, Progressive House, and Techno.
I often explore Boston and meet people at random events. Looking for my tribe!
I solo camp from time to time to disconnect from my otherwise technology-focused experience.
I try to do two public speaking engagements per year. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others!
